I remember when I first found out I was pregnant. I was scared to death because of the fact that we already had 3 girls. My husband was worried we would have another girl and he would never get his little boy. Well, when I was 26 weeks along, we had an ultrasound and found out we were FINALLY having our sweet lil boy. We were anxious, excited and scared all wrapped up into one.
Then on June 10, 2008 I was induced. I couldn't believe it, I was actually fixing to give birth to the little boy I had alwasy dreamed of. It was a miracle. At 3:15 PM I brought my son into this world. He weighed 6lbs and 5oz. He was 19 inches long. The most beautiful little boy I had ever seen. all I can remember thinking is "Wow, our family is finally complete."
He started getting sick at about 2 weeks old, and no one could figure out why. Then he was admitted to the hospital because they couldn't find anything wrong but they knew it wasn't just a cold for a baby to be sick for so long. They finally diagnosed him with acid reflux, and a milk allergy. So, we accepted that and went home.
He never got any better. On the morning of August 19, 2008...My husband and I woke up around 6:00 AM like we always do. I looked over at my son, and said "Good Morning Kayvian". He didn't move, and that's when my heart dropped. I knew something wasn't right. I rolled him over and he was blue. All I remember doing is screaming at the top of my lungs...."NO, NO, NO, NOT MY BABY!!!" He was gone. The amublance cam but they couldn't revive my son. He passed away a week and a half after he got out of the hospital.
Now that the holidays are drawing near, I find myself missing more now then ever. He was such a joy to have around, and I miss him so much. Not a day goes by that I don't thikn of my sweet little boy. I made this memorial site for him because he was our world. Our only little boy! I don't want anyone to ever forget about him, and I want everyone who didn't know him to know OF him. He was our precious gift and he taught us a whole lot.
I love you my sweet lil man, and you will always be in mommy and daddy'es hearts. We will never forget you and will always keep you in our minds. We will see you one day, and I sure can't wait.
